Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

In the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban videogame, releasing in conjunction with the next movie, Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As teenagers back for their third year of study, they are engaged in the mystery surrounding Sirius Black , who has recently escaped from the infamous wizard prison Azkaban.

For the first time, companion gameplay will allow gamers to play as Harry, Ron and Hermione, utilizing each character's unique attributes and spells to solve team-based tasks and progress through the game. The three friends will need to combine their strengths and master a variety of fantastic new spells as they battle to overcome Harry's most terrifying opponents yet: the Dementors, the dreaded guards of Azkaban

From the opening scene on the Hogwarts Express to the climatic closing finale on the shore of the great lake at Hogwarts, the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban videogame immerses the player in the fictional world of Harry Potter with captivating gameplay and stunning environments and graphics that beautifully bring to life the magical world familiar to anyone who has seen the films.

Players will encounter a host of new characters and creatures, engage in a variety of sub-quests, fly on a Hippogriff, explore previously unseen areas of Hogwarts with the mysterious Marauder's Map and take on their friends in multiple two-player challenges, including Dueling Club, Broomstick Racing and Flying Seahorse fishing, as they take part in the most exciting and challenging Harry Potter videogame adventure yet.

Hidden Challenge Shields

On the Glacius challenge there are icey ramps that you slide down. The ramp divides into two lanes, always take the right lane and you will find a challenge shield! 

Better spells

Go to Fred and Georges bathroom on the 6th floor as Herminone. Walk to the left when you get to the shop. There's a floating piece of parchment. Read the info, to get a book.
You'll have to find these statues:

   House Elf - On the second floor.
  Sailor Person - Near Fred and George's shop.
  Quidditch person - Right to the stairs coming down from the big staircase.
  Gunhilda of Gorensmore - Next to the stairs in the hall.
  Another big one on the second floor.
  Another small one near the entrance to the Fat Ladys Corridor.

(you need Hermione to read the note on the statue to get it.)

Easy Beans

From the entrance hall go half way down the stairs to the dungeon, there you'll find a pot containing beans. Use Flipendo to get the beans, then go back out to the hourglasses. Now go back in and get the beans one more time. Repeat this till you have the desired amount of beans (max 250)

Getting super flipendo and power-ups

If you get all the cards in a set, you get special powers or more energy. (like super flipendo: shoots 3 instead of 1 or super expelliarmus: shoots 3 back when 1 is fired at you).

Get more cards:

Use Ron and go to Fred and Georges shop. Buy stink pellets. Fred and George will challenge you to throw the pellets into a cup.

Go to Fred and Georges shop and talk to Fred. He will ask you to list all the statues in hogwarts.

If you want to enable cheats in
Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban
you need to enable " Debug Mode":

Use Notepad and open the file called game.ini in the game's system folder, search for these lines:

[HGame.baseConsole]
bDebugMode=False
bUseSystemFonts=True

To activate "debug mode" change bDebugMode=False to bDebugMode=True.

Now that you have activated " debug mode", press one of the following keys during
gameplay to activate the cheats:

[F4] - Select Level
[Delete] - Ghost Mode Toggle (use arrow keys to move forward/back; mouse to steer)
[Page Up] - Increase Game Speed
[Page Down] - Decrease Game Speed
[F9] - Get All Spells
[F6] - Restore Health

You can also set various things by pressing [~] during gameplay and typing the
codes below to activate the cheat (press enter after each):

Set Wiggenweld Potion Amount: set statusitemwiggenwell ncount 1-9999999
Set Jellybeans Amount: set statusitemjellybeans ncount 1-9999999
Set Gryffindor House Points: set statusitemgryffindorpts ncount 1-9999999

Play Any Level

Open C:\Program files\EA GAMES\Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban(TM)\ "System" folder. Find the text document named DEFAULT. Open it in Notepad and search for [HGame.HPPageFrontend] .

It should say: FirstLevel=HP3_Adv1Express.unr.
You can change it to any of the .unr files in the maps folder.

Easier Patronus casting.

Open C:\Program files\EA GAMES\Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban(TM)\ "System" folder.
Find the text document named SPELL.
Open it in Notepad and search for [HGame.PatronumSpell]. 

The file says: bAccumulates=false.
Change it to: bAccumulates=true

This makes it easier to cast the PATRONUS spell.

Get Lady Carmilla Sanguina from the Vampire Cards Set

In the Gryffindor Common Room use Hermione to cast Glacius on the fire

Get Goliath from the Giant Card Set

On the 6th floor use Reparo on the broken vase

Toasted Dragonflies

To get toasted dragonflies, look for the dragonflies over a pond in the Hogwarts courtyard. Transfigure a Dragon and fly it into the swarm, breath fire to toast them.

Flying Sea horses Hint

Go to the boathouse by the lake outside Hogwarts. Use Carpe Ratractum to carefully pull them out of the water.

Wizard cards

On the 6th floor in the bathroom, there is a broken toilet. Use Herminone to cast the glacius spell. You now get one of the famous witches and wizards cards.
